Summary (plain language)

CrawlFit is a personal, on-device fitness achievement tracker. Your health information is processed on your device and is never stored on a CrawlFit server. There is no account or sign-in. The app reads activity data you already have from Health Connect, turns it into rings, quests, and achievements, and stores everything locally on your phone. Backups are written only to a folder you choose. On beta builds, anonymous technical diagnostics may use the network to help fix sync issues; they are not a remotely stored health record.

What data the app accesses

Health & fitness data (read from Google Health Connect):

Profile data you enter (used only for on-device calculations like energy and step length):

App-generated data:

How the app uses it

All health-data processing happens on your device. Steps, distance, and exercise sessions power your activity progress, quests, and achievements. Active calories and speed are used to show workout energy, pace, and splits in Workout Details. None of this data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than showing you your own activity inside the app.

How Health Connect data is handled (required disclosures)

Optional beta diagnostics (beta builds only)

On beta builds this is on by default and can be switched off at any time in Settings. CrawlFit sends anonymous crash reports and a daily sync-health summary to help fix sync bugs. This is technical diagnostic information, not a remotely stored health record.

What is sent: app version, Android version, device make and model; tracker ecosystem and connection state; whether background Health Connect access is granted; app background-management state; sync outcomes, coarse fidelity, freshness, and duration ranges; error types but never error messages; stripped crash code locations; and a random anonymous ID not tied to your identity or device.

Never sent: health or fitness values, raw health records, step or score totals, workout details, source package names, record counts, identity, IP address, or account information. Turning diagnostics off stops all sending. Diagnostic data is retained according to Sentry's Developer-plan retention, approximately 30 days.
